Life, in a nutshell....
I hate that when you're exhausted is when things seem their bleakest.
I think what's tainiting it too, is that I've been sick for almost two weeks here. It's fabulous, let me tell you. I just want it to be gone. I've been sick since before Halloween. Great.
This has been one of the more crappy weeks I've had in a while. Seemingly everything came due this week regarding both MGIS and Mount Mary, so I've been burning the candle at both ends and then some. I will say though it's fun trying to teach and be excited about learning after you've slept for maybe 4 hours the night before. Yay caffine!
At least I have my teaching lesson out of the way and videotaped, and report cards are (pretty much) done - I just get to stuff envelopes tomorrow. (yay.) Tomorrow night is Laternenacht, and then this week is over. Thank god, cause it seemed to drag on forever this week.
In other news, I'm on severance for the county as of 4:30 this afternoon. So I'm laid off for my month, and then I can go back to doing special events. After talking to Joe tonight, he's almost letting me write my own ticket for what I want to do next year. I have a few options to weigh, but I know I definitely will not be working as much as I did during this past year. I know alot of people would rather see me quit, but I also have until next year to do it for good. I have a lot to consider.
Life continues to confuse me. If it's not one thing, it's another. I'm so confused, I'm so up in the air. I don't know what to think, and I definitely don't know what to feel anymore. One week I'm angry, and the next week I'm resigned. Part of me wishes I could fast forward 5 years to see what happens so I at least know what direction to take my life.
Is it sad I'm excited to go to the eye doctor on Monday, so I'll actually be able to see again? Cause I am. I think I'm that much of a geek.
... so in conclusion I would like to thank Pepsi - the makers of Mountain Dew, for without you, I would have passed out at 10pm on Tuesday, instead of staying up until 2 am.
