Fuck Bush
I can't take this anymore
Today in our student center
There were bits of paper lined up all along the walls
Of soilders faces
They had their names, units, and worst of all
Their cause of death
There have been nearly 3,600 deaths
And no one has done anything to stop this
I'm plagued with feelings of helplessness
I feel that I could make a difference
That I could stop this
That I could save lives
I just need to find out how.
This is bigger than me
This is bigger than my problems
There are so many dying
FOR NO REASON
Also the time our troops spend in Iraq
Has of all things, increased.
Increased
As if 15 months away from a family isn't enough
Now it's 18
In effect
As soon as possible
Our leaders don't understand how important
These men and women are to our lives
They don't understand the feelings of misery
But instead choose to ignore
Choose to let it's citizens know as little as possible
To try and cover up the fact that
THEY FUCKED UP
I am proud to be an American citizen
But I'll be damned to say that I am proud of this war
I would rather die than give support to our leaders
I am ashamed for what this country has done
For all the lives that have been lost
For all of the reasons unkown
