Gas prices and time machines
It's curious how a TiVo can inadvertently become a time machine.
I am just now watching a show recorded in early June. There's an ad for the local CBS station's news item: "Bay Area's cheapest gas prices". Inside the ad video is a subvideo of a petrol pump's LCD. I think that, even in early June, the video was a month or so out of date:

That comes out to about $3.07 a gallon. Current local prices are around $4.60, last time I fueled up.
