Yesterday was Valentine's Day and I wasn't expecting anything since Jason had told me that he had tests, not to mention it was in the middle of the week, and he wouldn't be seeing me. But that he would be up this weekend and we could hang out together then. I was already stressed about finding an interview for my research paper before the deadline (which I managed to get solved today!) and seeing all the couples in the halls at school today kind of depressed me. =[ I hadn't seen Jason in three weeks so I was really looking forward to this weekend, and for the most part I was over the fact that I wouldn't get to see him for Valentine's Day. Yesterday was a half day at school, so when I got out I found a plush puppy dog on the hood of my car for which I gave Shawna a hard time about (don't set stuff on my car!) because she was the only person that I recogonized at first hanging around at my car. When I got down there I realized that everyone was laughing at me for giving her a hard time about it and (now that I think of it) were acting kind of funny. So Shawna pretended like the puppy dog was from her and she kept saying "Happy Valentine's Day" and stuff like that. I was carrying on and probably talking a hundred miles a minute when I realized that I had seen Jason out of the corner of my eye and had to do a double take. Everything in my arms hit the pavement as I ran over to hug him. It was about the best planned suprise ever. My parents as well as my best friend knew that he was coming home and no one told me about it! I wasn't expecting anything on Valentine's Day and instead Jason came home to see me and brought me not only a cuddly puppy dog to sleep with, but a dozen roses and of course...chocolate! We then proceded to lunch with some of my friends and then went to see a movie and had dinner at La Strada in Lake Lure. I was very happy yesterday. It was a wonderful suprise. =]
As for my interview, I am doing a phone call interview on Saturday, and then sometime after March first I am going to probably go up to Biltmore to have a formal interview. So now that I know that I definatly have to call and talk to someone on Saturday, I can stop worrying about meeting that deadline. Now I have to worry about my eight page research paper due sometime next week (Wednesday?) I have maybe a page and a half roughed out. But it will get done! It always gets done. =] Yay! Soooo happy today! @---]-----
