So we lost, 10-11, against Shrewsbury, whom I would currently name our biggest rival.
GAH!
We played spectacularly though, we just got a few unlucky breaks, expecially with Kat and Lindsay's free positions in the last minute of the game, 2 yellow cards (which were complete bullshit, but OK...), and also encountered a few less than classy players.
Oh well.
I hope Jill is feeling better -- she had to go to the hospital after she collided with another girl and was shouldered in the jaw. In her freshman year she smashed her jaw and got a slight amnesia and a severe concussion, and she was exhibiting these same symptoms when Shrewsbury's athletic trainer came to check her out and she was in hysterics and couldn't remember the three words her asked her to repeat back to him. Poor kid.
I can't wait until the next time we play them. Mark my words, Shrewsbury is going down.
