WARNING: HAVEN’T SEEN WRECK IT RALPH YET? Then I’d advise you to stop. I knew virtually nothing about the movie before I saw it and it was fantastic. This story may be set in an AU (sortof) but it still contains spoilers.

“Hey, you must be the new kid!”
Who was this person? They seemed to look at him differently than all the others. There was a spark and the repairman’s heart responded with a skip.
The racer pulled his helmet off and outstretched a dark hand,
“Hi, I’m Turbo.”
--
There seemed to be this intangible force that pushed them together.
Turbo would help the other Felix and the quick glances would seem to linger as if 2.0 knew Turbo from somewhere.
The racer knew it was happening again,
But frankly, he didn’t want it to stop.
--
“Mornin’ Neighbor!”
The other Felix jumped in surprise, “Whew,” he sighed, “You scared the dickens out of me.”
Felix chuckled softly, “Didn’t mean to scare ya’, just wanted to say hey! See how things are on the other side of the arcade.”
“Things are goin’ pretty swell!” Felix 2.0 fiddled with his tool belt, tracing the outline of his wrench absent-mindedly, “I’ve made…some friends.”
This was his chance. The real reason Felix was here, all the way across the arcade, was for answers. “Word through the cords is you’ve been hangin’ around TurboTime.” He stared down his doppelganger, “This true?”
2.0 tugged at the hem of his right glove, eyes shifting to look anywhere but the figure in from of him. “W-where’d you hear a thing like? Tha-that’s just silly…”
Felix looked his other-self up and down; Felix in any version was a bad liar. “Oh my land, so it is true!”
“I-“
“No.” Felix put his hat back on, “’m sorry, but I’ve got a racer to talk to.”
-
“Turbo!”
The racer turned, removing his helmet and throwing it into the kart, “Felix?” A smile threatened the corner of his mouth.
The repairman continued to storm up to Turbo, “What’ya think your doin’ with other Felix?”
Turbo’s expression changed. This Felix was the first Felix, the old Felix, not the young, naïve Felix. “I can explain-“
“Darn tootin’ you can!” Felix took a deep breath to compose himself, “Pardon my language, it’s just-- I can’t believe you!” The boiling anger inside of him began to simmer, “What were you thinking?”
The racer ran a hand through his hair, “Felix, I- I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for it to happen.” He rubbed the back of his neck the same way Felix did when he was nervous, “I should have stopped, but I…didn’t want to.”
Felix’s frustration returned, “I-“
“-But I didn’t make the first move.” Turbo offered helplessly, his yellow eyes glancing up to Felix’s blue ones. “It happened just like last time. Exactly like last time.”
The repairman stopped. Opening old wounds was one thing, but this was like pouring salt into the gash in his heart. His anger rose again but he was mad at himself. “That’s no excuse. You should’ve been the bigger person.” Felix turned to leave and began to walk away.
“But Felix, it’s like it’s your code that we fall in-“
He turned on a dime, trying desperately to hide his anguish, “That may be true, but it’s also in the code that our relationship fails.”
Turbo wanted to chase after him, to reassure him that it was his fault that they broke up, that he’d make everything better.
But he knew he couldn’t go against code.
…or could he?

UM. THAT DIDN’T GO AS PLANNED, BUT YEAH.
So have some angst and ulterior motives for a major plot point in the movie at that last part.
Thanks for reading and sorry D:
