Most of the people on my lj are people I've met in the local punk/indie scene. They don't really understand my obsession with lo-tech electro/kraut rock. It's understandable, I don't understand their obsession with new indie/"hardcore bands". I'm not into bands that solo all at once to be heard. Like Joy Division, minimalism is best when really put together. A few people on my friend's list enjoy Conny Plank, Daf, Big Black, Neu! etc. My friend Soup loves that shit, so does Junkshop Sexy. I kinda think we're a minority. Doesn't that give us rights to hate on other minority's? I kid, I kid baby.
