Orphan Grey (4/?)

A/N: Hey, gang!  I know it’s been a loooooong time since I updated.  I would suggest rereading the first 3 chapters (they’re not very long!) if you’re still interested in the story.  There is a small “previously on”, though, if you don’t want to.

Previously on Orphan Grey:  Callie realized her stalker was actually a clone of herself.  She was ( Read more... )

This fic still confuses me, but I am enjoying it.

Does it confuse you because of things I am purposely leaving out, or have I not explained things very well? I'm genuinely curious, because I really want to make this a better fic.

Wow. LJ, you have failed me. I was not made aware of this comment as I was supposed to be, so sorry for my belated response.

I think because of a combination of things you are leaving out on purpose and me not having watched Orphan Black and my general not understanding sci-fi-type things because it's not really my thing most of the time.

Silly LJ.

That makes sense. Sometimes I don't even understand Orphan Black even though I love it...so that probably doesn't help me to explain it in my fic. You kind of don't need to understand it. All you have to understand is that Callie is a clone and that she has identical DNA as the others in this story. The "extra chromosome" thing is something that is on Orphan Black and I don't really understand the science behind it. The other thing that you have to understand is that Dr. Blake (and Ellis Grey) cloned Callie as an experiment and that it is illegal. Because it's an experiment, they are being monitored to see if being a clone affects their life or if they can function as normal humans. So, when Maria reveals that her husband has been performing tests on her and that Laura thinks they all have "monitors", that's why.

I don't know if that helped or not. :-/ I'm going to make an effort going forward to clear things up, because I really don't want the science to detract. At the end of the day, I want it to be a love

That all makes sense. Now I just hope that Arizona isn't her monitor because that would really get in the way of their relationship. Maybe it's Mark. Hmm.

It would. It would also add some drama. :-P Maybe it is Mark. Or maybe it really is Ellis. :D I want to say that it'll be revealed who it really is (not ruling out Ellis) within 2-3 chapters. I think.

It's never the first person you suspect. So I think Mark. Now don't change it just because I've figured it out.

Haha I'm not going to change it no matter what you say. I will say that it's definitely one of those three people, but I'm not saying who. I don't like mysteries when the real answer/person comes out of left field and you couldn't have figured it out.

Since I already considered all three of those options, it definitely won't be out of left field.

Haha no it won't be. I just meant, I'm not gonna be like "oh hey, everybody, it's actually Cristina!"
