A/N: So, this became non-cannon in a hurry.  Obviously Arizona was not kicked out in this fic.  I’m also not dealing with the whole Leah debacle, so pretend that didn’t happen.  A big thank you goes to nerdfightergirl, who gave me brilliant suggestions and advice for this chapter!

That last line made my heart flutter! I feel like that has to be part of the reason Callie is avoiding Arizona so much - she obviously still loves her, but she's also still so hurt and angry, and it's much easier to avoid all those things than it is to confront them, feel them, and likely be confused by them since they're so conflicting.

I appreciate that you basically touched on and explained everything that needs to be touched on/explained in two chapters, and not a billion years like the show. :P And it was so refreshing to see these two actually sit down and have a conversation! I love that they started opening doors and asking real questions - and I also love that everything wasn't immediately fixed and resolved. You give us the sense that a process has begun and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. There's still sadness, but there's hope now, too. The last two sections in particular are really beautiful that way.

And then of course there's Carlos. Oh, Carlos. I knew I liked you. And lelephants? I almost died. So freaking cute.
