Mr. Van Helsing?
Is it bad that watching two of the past few movies I've seen this week have made me think of Lear and Rei all around?
*falls over in spasms*
NOT GOOD.
So, Van Helsing finished downloading today, so I watched it while having lunch. I hadn't seen this movie since... it first came out, so little bits and pieces of it were lost on me. I'd forgotten.
...but dear GOD, Anna Valerious is SO Rei. It's not the hair and the general demeanor, it's something else, that I can't exactly pinpoint. *keels over*
...and then there's the part where Mr. Vahn Halsing (Yes, with the Transylvanian accent and all), lifted her up to strangle her.
"You're choking me...!"
*kicks self* RINGING SO MANY FREAKIN' BELLS IN MY HEAD.
And then. Towards the end.
"You must kill me."
*groans*
I -will- come out and say, though, that I rather -like- the ending for Van Helsing. It's so different from all these, 'Happily Ever After' movies; Anna's death is just, 8D, and how sweet is it that the Valerious line is -forever- ended, with the death of the Count?
Plus, Van Helsing crying over her prostrate form with THOSE rippling pectorals...
...well, there's a drooling fangirl for ya'. XD
I also finished downloading, "Ever After", the one with Drew Barrymore. The costumes were -beautiful- in there, and I'm hoping to get more closeups of em'.
...let's see how many Learei bits I can find in -there-. *groans*
