(no subject)
well... this week has been crazy
monday i had a lecture and then went to chris'
lecture was average. went to chris' flat, dropped off the aforementioned microwave and then went with him to the bullring to try and sort jens phone for her... we failed at this and went back to his flat. where we had a conversation, which wasnt exactly the most positive conversation i've ever had, but i'll get over it.
monday night we had a bit of a row over whether or not to go out, and didnt end up going out. but we all made up about 5 minutes later so its okay...
tuesday morning i over slept - good one - and missed my first lecture, score. went to kels flat and then to the library to "work". didnt get much work done but i did meet a guy off my course who is very cool! hes called paris, he's 23 and from canada but doing a graduate degree in law over here. anyway, hes in all my lectures and has become my new friend on my course. he even saved me a seat yesterday! that was one of the most exciting things that has happened in a lecture so far. oh he also happens to be one of the most intelligent people ive ever met and has already spent ages explaining things to me, i feel he's gonna be one of the most valuable contacts on my course!
tuesday night we went to adam's flat, jen and ellena went to see pride and prej (again) after about an hour but me and posy stayed there. met a few of the guys frm flat 22 which was cool as we dont know that many people from round here. one of the guys was from amersham - what a weird coincidence, he lives literally about five minutes down the road from me. kel - hes also doing politics, maybe you'll meet him one day (he's called ben lol)
wednesday i had some crappy i.t. training thing which was boring and then a writing test - TEST - fuck... and then went to bullring to meet kel andy and tom, back to my flat for the 30 second walk in the rain, they didnt half complain. honestly lads, you're like old women.
wednesday night we went to the works, which is a club about a second from out flat, literally around the corner. was a really good night out, met a guy from luton who took the piss out of the fact i was from watford for a while. then saw a guy i fancied and got with him, which was a bonus. also saw him this morning across campus but didnt exactly stop and say hi... he is quite fit though so here's hoping we'll bump into him again sometime soon
thursday morning i only just got into my lecture thanks to jen and posy waking me up - i do love them - and me driving (still pissed) to my lecture in super quick time. back to the flat for a sleep until my 4-6pm lecture (eurgh) in which i got confused numerous times and paris spent half the lecture explaining stuff to me... love him
thursday night i did about 10 hours work for my supervision this morning after a brief road trip to tesco with the girls
this morning....supervision......was hard
was lying on my bed contemplating a nap when jen burst in and told me chris was coming over in 10 minutes, so had to get up and put make up...
and then he took the o.c. box set home with him again :( what are we going to do with our time now i ask...?
we then had a hyper cheesy music session whilst talking to andy on msn (haha, determined to set him and ellena up to ellena's protestations that he's too young for her) which ended up with the whole flat plus adam in my quite small room... and the flat downstairs starting some kind of cheesy music war with us. or maybe they just like crap music? they do play "eye of the tiger" quite frequently at the weirdest times-3am usually.
just got back from some film which sucked quite alot until we got into the whole american con thing at which point it became quite amusing. me and ellena learnt alot about american football, very educational...
it's now 00:06 and im tired, first to bed for the first time, oh well!
