Today was given over to a walk, some yard work, and admiring the flowers which are all quite lovely. The whole appreciation of nature is a delightful thing until one's dinner partner suddenly looks taken aback and then reaches over to pluck a bug from the top of one's head. I brushed my hair thoroughly after coming in, too; Eli theorized that perhaps the beetle had crawled up from my shirt: "It's about the same color," he offered. Like having it suggested that there are bugs secreted in my clothing makes me any less twitchy.
