Here's the squib of a post I started last evening during the press conference:
I'm feeling a little stressy so naturally I grab for Myrna as I watch
Mr. Obama's first press conference as president. And you know he's a fine man and all but someone really needs to explain to him the difference between answering a question and giving a speech because his response to the first question pretty much ignored the question and led to him repeating his original talking points at quite some length. (And when did "talking points" become so ubiquitous that even I use it automatically?) Thank goodness, I say, for a second question that is on foreign policy.
