I watched the new Friday Night Lights today and because I need to babble about it there are spoilers under the cut.
Ok, I think my love for this episode is mostly because of a certain Tim Riggins. I mean, him with baby Gracie, seriously how cute was that? *g* And I loved how he was like a protective big brother to Julie, looking out for her during the storm, at the party and everything. I even hated coach for a little while there, when he wouldn't even give Tim a chance to explain the situation, after he walked in on Tim and Julie. I felt so bad for Tim! *hugs Tim*
Speaking of Julie, I'm still not the big Julie fan I was last season, but I think I might be getting there. What she did to my beloved Matt made her loose pretty much all points she had earned from me, but she's getting what she deserves. She feels a little out of character though...
And Matt, there wasn't enough of him in this episode, I guess that might be my one complaint. And please don't hate me for saying so, but I kinda like Matt with Charlotta. And don't get me wrong Matt/Julie is one of my biggest OTPs, but I think being with Charlotta is giving Matt some self confidence, which he so needs. But apart from that, I want my Matt/Julie back!
I actually felt bad for Buddy in this episode. I never thought I would, but I did. I also felt bad for Landry and Tyra, their relationship is just so complicated...!
Oh, and when the team from the other school was there... I was such a Pathers fan! *g*
There was so much more I loved about this episode, but these are the main things I guess...!
I really wanted to make some Tin Man fanart, but sometimes inspiration works in mysterious ways, because here's what I ended up with:
Edward Cullen - Nature's LawI love this song called Nature's Law by Embrace, and it just screams Edward to me so I had to use it for something. And yes, I know there's an official Edward now, and I have absolutley nothing against him, I'm just trying to get as close to my Edward as possible, so I'm sticking with Gaspard for now. Just picture our own Edward there, ok?
