More spoilers for those of you who haven't seen VM 3x14.

The awesome plzdonotdie directed me to this Michael Muhney interview, made by Kristin at E! I read it and it just made me feel worse - poor Michael! (Still you should read it!) Here is also another one, from TV guide.

And a part from the interview that I thought made a really good point:

And you've heard the fans are upset about this, right?

Yeah, I’ve heard that. I’ve been reading what everyone is writing online and hearing all the different points of view, and I found what one person said to be interesting. They said that last night’s episode sort of cheapened the pilot for them, because they made such a big deal about Keith being ousted as sheriff and no longer being an '09er, and their family income was so much that they were going to be an '02er, and they were going to live on the wrong side of the tracks, and it was a huge adjustment in setting the tone for noir in Neptune. You know, I had always thought in my mind that the only way that Keith was ever going to be sheriff again was in the final episode of the final season to put a happily-ever-after spin on it.

Keith not being sheriff is just as important for the story as anything else, especially - like Michael said - since they made such a big deal about it in season 1/the Pilot. And anyway - how come Keith became the new sheriff? I don't get it! At least Michael knows the fans are upset which is good!

A little less than a year ago I was looking forward to a season 3 of this show and I thought it had every opportunity to be great - my was I mistaken!

I'm going to shut up about VM now - it really pissed me off this season and I just don't have the energy to care anymore.
