I am almost embarrassed to post this, but after seeing all the beautiful blogs by historical costumers, I decided to write about the other side of costuming. The Broke Costumer. I so admire people who have the resources and skills to make authentic gowns with period fabrics and sewing techniques. I have no such skills, and as one of the many now on unemployment, I have no money either. But that won't stop me from costuming. This is the poor man's version to costuming.
