Bravo's new reality show "Blow Out" featured songs by both Howie Day AND Wheat. Uhhh, I definitely just heard "I Met a Girl" on televisiiioon!
And now for my dilemma...
I'm only allowed to earn 4 credits of interning. This means 1 4-credit internship or 2 2-credit internships. If I study abroad there is a 4-credit internship built into the curriculum which means I could then have 3 internships, 1 4-credit and 2 2-credit ones. This would be really great since I want to intern in NYC/Chicago/Boston next summer and if I studied abroad (spring '05) it could possibly help me get a better internship come summer.
HOWEVER,
Interning over the summer equals UNPAID unless I win the internship through the Academy and that's NOT going to happen. So that means I would NOT make money and go spend it in London and then try and come home to be unpaid for the summer and then go back to school for senior year.
I don't think I have that kind of money.
Sooooo let's say I do NOTHING in London, if I even get accepted, I'll probably still spend at leaaast $1,000....so let's say $2,000....
Then I come home and let's say I get a good internship somewhere in NYC or Chicago. That's gonna cost me about $800 to get the credits from BU, $2000-$3000 for housing, and then food and activities because you KNOW if I'm in NYC I'll be going to shows.
But then I could not get an internship anywhere and end up at home. Hmmmmmmmmmm...
So from this day forward, I'm going to try and save my money. I need at least a couple grand before December.
Why is money the DEVIL?!?!?!
