you know what sucks?...
...when you apply for a summer job but they call you now seeing if you wanna work.
it was the worst feeling because i recently just applied to work at the moscow/pullman airport to work for alaska/horizon and i indicated that i wouldn't be available until like the 2nd week in may, but some lady called me today asking if i would be interested in going to portland for 5 days of training but i can't cuz it'd be next week and i have school and a whole semester to finish up. grrrr. that would have been a good job too..........oh well, i'll hopefully get that tutoring one that i applied for and that'll hold me over until summer. i ran into the prof that teaches the class that has the struggling students and she's hoping i get it and even has another student to add to the group for me if it all works out.
anyway, it's the jazz festival all this week so the streets are all closed off and there's HS/middle school kids EVERYWHERE and all their school buses and tour buses, etc. they're all over campus and all up in our food courts and other places. meh.
i went and ran a mile today, since i'm feeling better from being sick i'm wanting to start working out again...especially since my bday's coming up and i have a feeling i might pack on a few pounds this weekend for sure. but i got a free water bottle from my school. they give them to all students who are turning 21 so it has the UI and the "I" looks like a bday candle and then it has a big 21 under it. it's cute and red and i like it. and it's free, so it's even better.
