change of plans...
the worst thing about coming home for the holidays is making sure i can get back to school in one piece. lately i haven't had much luck with my flights, and this time around it's no different. i was supposed to fly out of portland on tuesday up to spokane, but an unsettling trend of my airlines canceling my particular flight for a few days in a row has caused some panic for me. so, to guarantee my return, i'm now booked on a greyhound for a 10 hours bus ride back to moscow that leaves tomorrow in the morning. while it'll be nice getting back to school a day sooner, it just is unfortunate to have arranged it under these circumstances. so, ariel, i'm sorry i never got to meet up with you one last time. i did go out to coffee with ashley this morning, and that was nice to catch up with her, but i would have really liked to have gotten a chance to see you also. and jbo, again, i hope everything's been alright with you as well, and sorry i couldn't see you one last time also. them's the breaks, i guess. anyway, wish me luck on getting home this time!
in other news, my sister turns 22 on tuesday also, so we're having a little celebratory dinner for her tonight before i leave, which will be nice. anyway, that's really all i've got for now.
