this has been a freaking good day!
big event #1:
so, i got my application for the college of ed all completed and i turned it in this morning. and my adviser said i should have no problem getting in and that i should be accepted into the college of ed within a few days!
big event #2:
in addition to that happy news, i just randomly decided to check my financial aid to see if, by some long shot, i had anything new for next sem. and lo and behold, there was a scholarship listed! i got my first scholarship from the school!!!!!!!! it's called the wayne d. osborne scholarship and it's for a total of $500 ($250 each sem). although, for it only being posted last week, this sem's almost over so, hopefully i'll still get that first $250. holy crap! this totally made my halloween!!!!!

so, i called my mom and had her look it over first just to make sure i wasn't on crack or anything, and she told me to go ahead and accept it, and she and my dad were really happy and proud and that made me really happy and proud!
