anyone heard of him? well, apparently, he's this well known guy who goes around the nation to various college campuses warning about the wrath of god should we not convert to his fanatical views. he wore this billboard that had pictures saying he was against "rebellious women" "fake religions" (with a picture of the buddha) "sports nuts" "pot smoking little devils". we had the...honor...of having him and 2 other old-guy henchmen come to our campus the other day. i think they do it just for the spectacle b/c he even gave out a pin that said "rebellious woman" to this one chick who had been standing out there most of the day refuting much of his hypocritical resentment. he was nuts.
anyway, i went and worked out for the first time this year last night with straight kyle. the other kyle was supposed to come too, but he crapped out on us. but, while we were there, we jogged a few laps, stretched out a bunch (i can't believe i still have some of my extreme flexibility--it made me happy) and then we did some weights.
it was so crazy last night though b/c we had a severe storm warning for a huge thunder/lightening storm with a potential for tiny funnel clouds in some areas. we don't get tornadoes around here, so that warning plus all the thunder we heard really freaked me out. and i was supposed to work a half a shift, but i called my boss and explained my fear or that kind of weather and she was really cool about it--even though i felt like a moron, but oh well. luckily, it never did get all that bad, it just POURED a whole bunch. but anyway, here's some pics of the sky i took last night while it was pouring down rain during the storm.
these were taken outside kyle's apartment complex...eerie, huh?
