New ideas!
So I want to do the Craft Fair in May again. Solo or not, I plan on doing it! :D I just hope they don't hike up the price some more (greedy riverlodge =P).
Anywho, I aim to have a more varied supply of goods this coming year! Pins and magnets went over well so I'll keep making them but they are kind of "kid stuff". I want to have more cowls. I was thinking of altering them a bit. I'll make plain ones, and crazy ones - more variety woohoo! I'll do a lot during the break so I have a big enough supply before May. Plus in the mean time I could always put them on etsy during the school year. My goal is to do at least 10 I guess. Maybe even more if I have the creative go for it haha.
I have something else I want to try out. Embroidered art/pictures. I rock at embroidery. Not gonna lie, haha. I really want to make wall hanging out of things and have a bunch of them to sell at the fair too. I could do them all year round at school during spare time here and there. I've made like 4 personal ones in the last week alone! I'm a maaachine. :S I guess I'm not really sure what I could do for them. My instinct is to do obscure portraits of like...movie stars I heart but nobody else has heard/less popular. XD I need to think in a more general way if I want to have 'em for the public.
So! Do you guys have any ideas what could be cool to do? I was thinking maybe sayings (ex: "welcome to our hizzouse", "LAWL!" or other geekery and things that are normal too haha), flowers, etc.
GAH! I need to think of creative ways to display things too. Displays are what get people to look! I mean, if you have a crummy booth with like nothing fancy at all people walk on by. I've seen it happen. :S Like what happened at the fair last week! Ohhhh man. Nobody wants to squint to read a crappy sign, or have to inspect items for the prices. The clearer the better! Plus I just want to have a neat way to show things. Mmmm so excited!
