No beta for this one, but a grateful wave to maerhys and melissima for taking a quick look at the first version for me so I had the strength to do the massive amounts of rewriting necessary to like this enough to publish it.

mmmmm i like the way this one has an almost horror flair and evokes the imagery of werewolves and other primal beasts that go bump in the night. Which then makes me giggle cause what's that old euphemism? The beasts with two backs? Ok that was just wrong. but I really like Charlie wanting to know all of Don, even his dark side and then realizing Don's dark side is alot blacker than he anticipated. And primal Don, hawt as hell. Bruised Charlie so he has to take a sick day and wear long sleeves? Something is very wrong with me cause i like that more than i should. :) u should tell mel this fic counts towards your halloween contribution.

Hee! I'm glad the werewolf hint came through. I figured if people went to wolf or werewolf either would evoke what I was going for. I could do werewolves for real for Halloween, but I think Val's got the corner on that market. (But I do know Mel likes zombies!)

I love dark fic so this, you're right, borders on horror but I think that's hot. Plus, Dark!Don animalistic sex? Hell yes! And I can't find any bad in Charlie+rough sex so there you go.

I may have to crossover or fuse Numb3rs with Blood Ties so I can give Don some supernatural sex pollen type animalistic possession or something just so I can spend more than 300 words on it.

Ooh! I forgot! I have a sequel to write for Prey! Perfect! Hee!
