I can be freakishly prolific at times. I wrote all of Simon Says (one of my rare fic that didn't fit in one LJ post) within one 24 hour period and it's over 15K. I wrote the first four stories in the Three Red Balls Series in one sitting and I think they were about 4-5K all together. I wrote 25K of fic in half a month during August of last year and that was in about 6-8 different stories. When I get flow, it's a freaking Niagara Falls! This though? I have no words for the sheer mass of words that's been coming out of me since I started this fic on the 27th. /marvels/

Let's just say even though I've never won a NaNo before? I'm feeling *much* more confident about my chances this year.

Besides, I'm writing Virtue for NaNo. I managed to finish Vice, I can manage to finish Virtue.

Okay, maybe not in 30 days, but 50K of it? No longer seeming impossible. ;-)

After hearing about it earlier this week, no way was I passing this one up.

Hearing about it? From me? I don't really remember telling anyone I was writing a huge Ian/Colby. Okay, maybe Mel's chat, but I don't even remember. The last week's been kind of a daze. /grins/

I think this is the most I've consistently written in a long time. Usually, on my long fics, I end up faltering somewhere around the middle because I lose the plot I have in my head, but this time, it's all right there and it's not going away, even though my head's all foggy from this cold I've been fighting all week.

*shudders* NaNo's too daunting for me, I let others try their hand and be impressed if/when they manage to write 50k.

Mm-hmm, you mentioned it in a reply to my comments on Back Alley Therapy.

Huh. Just goes to show my brain's been stuck in this fic for the last week pretty much to the exclusion of almost everything else.

That's cool about your long fic! It's so great when they come together and *stay* together and don't wander off on you.

Sorry your cold's still not gone. /kicks it/

I'd offer you part 3 to read, but I'm still writing the end of it. LOL

*giggles* I get that. I completely forgot that I have math homework due on Monday, I've been so immersed in writing my story. Don't even have a title for it, yet.

*nods* I have several abandoned works-in-progress sitting on my hard drive that I completely lost the plot for. : (

Thanks. This has been one of the most unique colds I've ever had (Can a cold be unique?) and I can't wait for it finally go away.

*laughs* Well, once you've finished it, I certainly wouldn't mind the chance to read it. *innocent look*

Hey, I made a whole ficfinishing *comm* to deal with my WIP issues. LOL Clearly you are not alone, nor am I.

At this point I'll be lucky to get it self-betaed and out on Sunday as planned so unless I send it to you super rough you'll have to wait until tomorrow for it.

I did just get them into bed though. Yay! Go me! About damn time! /glares at them/ This fic was dangerously close to PG13. Hehehe

And yes, a cold can be unique. That doesn't make them fun though, just perplexing. ;-)

*sniggers* Very true.

No probs, I can wait.

YAY! PG-13?! Say it ain't so! *giggles* Sorry, a little loopy, even without the cold meds. Must be the two cups of tea I've had in three hours.

Extremely perplexing. And annoying and gross and..I could go on, but I'll spare you my ranting. ^__~

Good news! The pr0n! It lives! The sex scene's been written and if all goes according to plan I only have two scenes left to write and then I get my life back! Yay!

Or at least I get to take a shower and watch Criminal Minds. ;-)
