bank holiday fun
most august bank holiday's i spend at reading fest, this year due to glasto i gave it a miss and went to london instead. saw nottinghill carnival which was cool, found it a bit annoying at one point though with the crowds of people, as my sis and her mates were drinking and i wasnt i couldnt get into the party vibe. anyway, i've experienced it now. next time i'll go the other day and take drink with me.
drove round to minime's who's coaping fine after he got dumped by gem. there wasnt much tension between the 3 of us (as she still lives there). yesterday i went to a mini metal fest down dartford (my home town)and there was so much eye candy there! where did it all come from... anyway minime had a bit of a crisis as 2 of his band mates couldnt get to dartford from croydon as they had no car and couldnt get a train there with all their gear so i drove there to collect them, as i had no idea how to get there and minime wanted to drink he came with me. boy they had a lot of stuff, the amp was so big i couldnt fit in the boot so that went on the back seet with one of the guys and minime went in the boot, so he was in there all the way to dartford, haha time for revenge when i had to go in the boot in his car back in the days! got there in time for his band to set up and did a mental gig. he's such a good front man, born to be a rock star. i'm glad he had the band, it took his mind off the break up.
and of corse he looked great in stage thanks to the robe baby ruby made him ;o)
