one down... one to go
wow. download was so much fun! went with andy and paul. met up with college mates and their friends camped with us, so there was like 10-15 (lost count) of us. met simon and claire there too. the weather was perfect on the first day, just cloudy not hot so taking stuff to the site weren't too bad. First night did the usual, drank lots, smoked lots of dope and made lots of friends.
Friday had a mean hangover so didn't enjoy the bands so much, that'll teach me! watched megadeth, sancity (an awesome new band like machine head), ill nino, enter shkira (who fucking rocked!), korn (for old times sake) and suicidle tendencies keeping it old skool! Friday night didnt drink so much this time.
Saturday felt better but it was so hot! cant win, saw malpractice (new band very much like QOTSA) hell yeah (vinnie pauls new band) shadows fall, bowling for soup, machine 'fucking' head (big fight pit, me and andy were in our element!) slayer, marilyn manson (nearly feel asleep to his stuff) and some cheese motley crew.
Sunday perfect weather and no hangover! watched chimera, unearth (good old brutel metal and fight pit), devil driver, masterdon, lamb of god (yet another circle pit), kill switch engaged, dimmu borgir and maiden to finish.
final night we went round the stalls and got free food, watched some cheesy caberet (BOOBS) and drank lots. was up till 4am and got woken by security at 9 (bastards) i'm now at home all clean and in bed and looking forward to glasto
