The past few weeks have been a blur and I expect the blurring to continue to the end of the month. First there was the week of Handel's Messiah. Then there was the blur of Disneyland in a terrific downpour. We flew home on the 24th, had dinner out, grabbed groceries. Had our little 5-person family celebration on Saturday, with Wm being a horrific brat up until lunchtime, pretty sweet through the afternoon (and utterly excited about presents) and awful again in the evening. Pip was interested in opening stuff when encouraged to do so, but not so much in doing things with stuff once opened. There were Legos everywhere.
Today was collapse and rest day. Tomorrow starts a week of Beethoven's 9th, followed by two weeks of "hey let's remember the stuff we worked on a couple of months back" and two more concert weeks, one of Mozart's Requiem and the other a one-shot of opera choruses. January 28th I expect I will fall over and sleep for a week.
So I haven't kept up with you lot, and may not for a bit longer. Hope your holiday season has been as hoped-for and that your year finishes delightfully.
