Conversation with Wm, after he came home from a preschool field trip to a trout farm:
Did you go fishing?
Yeah!
And did you catch a fish? Did you use a fishing pole (*casting line gesture*) and catch a fish?
Yeah! And I caught it in the net!
And then did you put it back?
No, I put it in the bucket! And then it was DANCING!
And now we have a (supposedly cleaned and ready to cook) trout in the trunk of our car. And none of us actually eat fish.
