Mom's favorite cat has inoperable cancer and maybe a few days to live. She seemed fine on the weekend, but then started hiding Sunday afternoon and mom didn't find her for 24 hours. The days since Monday have been a whirl of multiple vet offices and diagnostics (could have been a hernia, could have been heart trouble, so they kept looking for the fixable things until this was all that was left) until finally today they were able to really find what the problem was.

Apparently cats hide symptoms for a really long time and then seemingly abruptly are deathly ill. Sigh.

Mom is just devastated. Fuck cancer.
