Not the cat this time (though she is mightly low on teeth at 4 "real" ones), but the boy. We're still about a month shy of his 6th birthday, and he's lost six teeth already. The four center ones, and one neighboring one each top and bottom. The extra top one came out because the new tooth coming in was a bit too wide for the space the old tooth left behind, so I expect the next top one will be departing soon as that new tooth starts to move through.
Of the new teeth, the two bottom ones are pretty much all the way in and one of the top ones is about halfway in. And then he's got the gaps. Makes it hard for him to bite, so pizza (the one thing he is almost guaranteed to eat) is a bit of a chore right now.
Tooth #6, by the way, came out in the restaurant as we were waiting to order food last night. I saw him poking at it and tried to feel for myself how wiggly it was, he pushed my hand away and the tooth came with it. So I sat there in the restaurant going "what do I do with *this*?" for a few minutes. Heh.
