I had this hand-dyed tussah I was spinning up, and sent a skein of it off for the
spinningfiber competition. I weighed it before sending and discovered it was only an ounce, which confused me, because I thought it was half the fiber and that I'd bought four ounces. Today I found the label, which confirms that the package said four ounces on it. So either I paid for 4 ounces of fiber but only got two, or I've got two more ounces of hand-dyed tussah LOST somewhere in the house. I very badly need to organize my fiber stuff.
I'm vaguely disgruntled that the competition stuff hasn't come back yet, because I had some plans for some of that stuff. Not that I don't have plenty of other things to knit. And not that I don't understand life taking over, and a job taking precedence. It's just, you know. *sigh*.
Apparently our printer is old enough that places like Office Depot aren't ordering the replacement ink cartridges as a matter of course any more. We'd been pondering replacing it anyhow, but I do like the fact that it will do 11x17 inch paper (and we do sometimes use that), so that involves a bit more poking around to find one.
I'm supposed to have rehearsal 4 nights in a row this week (normal tonight, one extra project tomorrow, sectional Wednesday, a different extra project Thursday). At this point I'm no longer sure I can handle the extra projects. I really don't even want to go tonight (and I'm sure that's a physical thing, not a depression thing; my tum is acting up a wee bit and I'm just achy and tired). And this is a crappy week for me to be gone a lot, because
wrog is super-busy gearing up for the Legislative District caucuses on Saturday. Grargh.
