NVC Day One: Arrival and settling in [David & Emma]
Em sighed as she dropped her bags into their temporary accommodations while the ship underwent repair. They'd been warned that the environment was warm. After being in space for a while, the heat seemed...rather welcoming. She flopped onto the bed. Almost like home. Probably in the middle of August from how hot it was. The gravity seemed to take the place of the unbearable humidity that was Atlanta in the middle of the day.
Hot as it was, Em was definitely happy to be on solid ground again. She peered over at her husband. Maybe the familiar climate would help them get back in tandem with each other.
