Another year older - [David & Emma, possible guest stars Lenny and Hamlet]
Today had been a languid day. Em whistled as she quickly showered off the pool water in the gym and got dressed before making her way back to her and David's quarters.
She woke up in David's arms. That was something that still put a small smile to her face. Little Lenny was already gone, probably exploring the ship when she actually woke up. She hadn't had a chance to actually ask around to see how long he would stay a child since Em was pretty sure that Tina would have probably liked to have had the CMO back. But for now, their little family unit had been a nice revisit to the past. She had laughed when she saw his drawing on the coffee table. She made a mental note to find some adhesive or magnets or something to post it up on the wall. Had a very nice swim at the pool.
As she walked down the corridor, she wondered if this would mark her 44th birthday or her 56th. Shaking her head, she entered the code to the door of her quarters. Best not to think about it.
