be careful what you wish for
Sunday evening I made an offhand comment on the phone to my youngest sib about how I just didn't really feel like going to work the next day -- I wanted a long weekend.
That night, the headache I'd had earlier that day came back along with fever, chills, body aches, and stomach upsets. Needless to say, I opted to stay home and recover on Monday.
I went back to work on Tuesday, but I only lasted until 3 pm. Now I'm awake at 3 am with another headache and more stomach cramping and other upsets. Ugh...at first I thought it was food poisoning but now I'm sure it's stomach flu. I'm calling in sick again on Wednesday. Big surprise there.
*crawls back to bed, trying to not hurl*
