I am so out of it when it comes to LJ lately. Work was crazy the past few weeks so I just couldn't bother to log on and compose an entry. I wanted to talk about learning for sure that I am secure enough in my job now, some odd Valentine's Day candy I received, SGA, the dearth of entertaining TV these days, the Pink Floyd tribute I went to, my lack of current music...just the kind of random stuff that populates many a blog. OK, OK, and I occasionally still muse about that phase of my life I spent as a naive, clueless grad student. Funny how it almost seems like another life that someone else lived, even though it wasn't that long ago.
I'm considering buying a new notebook computer, as I've been mooching off my sis' notebook the past, oh say, two years, and my previous Dell laptop has gotten pretty outdated at 5 years old with no software upgrades. I'm rather suspicious of the Dell Inspiron line. I had experienced some odd glitches with my computer early on, though it did serve me well enough throughout grad school. One could say I got what I paid for since that is the "budget" line, but I had a cheap no-name computer system as an undergrad that worked great for over 4 years, despite it having only a Celeron processor and a grand total of 4 gb of hard drive.
