The Return of the Fortune Cookie(s)
It's been quite a while since I've done one of these silly posts.
New Year's Eve. Take-out Chinese food. With the obligatory noodles and seafood dishes. And, of course, the fortune cookies.
Fortune truly helps those who are of good judgment.
You lead a useful life no matter what riches are coming to you.
Hmm, the first one doesn't seem to be a fortune per se, more like a near-admonition that there is no luck, only good decision-making. At least the other one says I'll lead a useful life...I'd go crazy with nothing to do, though I enjoy brief periods of bumming around.
