On All My Children today,
Dixie actually died! I thought the retrospective was going rather long. Why did they have to kill her and my OTP (Tad/Dixie) off?! I guess the character has been around on and off for a long time anyway and perhaps the actress wanted to retire the character. Dixie's death sure made me feel sorry for Tad. Although now it looks like he might get his and Dixie's missing daughter, Katie, back...in soapland there is always a Dickensian karmic balance. ;-)
