addendum to the first love epiphany

Is it odd that I keep talking about "jumping back into the pool" when it comes to education? Does it make me like a serial monogamist who goes from one relationship to another because they believe so whole-heartedly that they will eventually find THE ONE?

I hope it's simply that I've become more pragmatic and view additional education as a means to an end now.
