(no subject)
hello hello. well i havent updated lately... so heres a run down
Uni
uni is going ok at the moment. i'm doing democracy in athens from 600 and something BC to 300 and something BC... i cant remember the exact dates, but who cares about dates in ancient history. for those of u who dont know this is really the first time i've ever done greek history.... well does Alexander count as Greek or Macedonia??? (alright i;ve spent too much with my uni mates... u all have the right to be thinking NERD right now) anyway.... first couple of weeks were horrible, boring, interesting but just went over my head, and just about everyone else in the class... but now its kinda making sense. well this week made sense. although we missed a whole bunch of names of places cos he just listed them quickly. but i dont think that was too important. the only sucky thing is none of the girls are in my class, so im very lonely :( but i have new friends, well i think i stole one off casey. so basically i see Nathan and Spencer. but we do manage to have lunch on the occassion which is good. we all had lunch for Becks birthday the other week. which was really cool. casey came down and laura was around, and rob was there too.... it was fun. i made cupcakes!!! oh the good thing about uni is i have nothing due until 17th May. but i should really get started on it. it looks daunting and long.... but its on the Delian league, so it should be ok to research... think i'll do it on samos or lesbos.... but sparta is ever so tempting, but we cant do that :(
work... sucks.... the less said the better... had my first weekend off since like september.... or even longer.... and i actually have a good hunk of time off this week which should be good... maybe i can get some uni work done... yeh right like that will happen. my parents are away in canberra from thurs til actually i havnt asked when they get back, i assume monday or tues... i think tues....
oh Bec's 21st last nite was great fun. actually think i needed a night away from all the dramas of my friends. (i know that sounds worse than what i mean... it was just nice to do something without them) ADz Karina emma and i went to freedom writers on wed at silverscreen. and uni mates are going to see 300 at silverscreen in early april... hey it is early april. sorry im a bit random at the moment. anyway back to becs 21st.... it was good. 2 bottles of champagne, actually in flutes this time not mugs.... casey got smashed... and sara tried to teach me to PLC foot dance, which maybe next time i should try sober.... i mite actually be able to do it..... oh and becky pitt dirty danced... i need to rip out my eyeballs... it was a good nite
oh i think thats it.,... work uni and friends.... oh i saw emma play soccer today. they lost. karina and i are going to make pom poms.... heheheh now to come up with a chant.... or maybe not...
