(no subject)
SO I'm sicker than i've ever been in my life...i guess i complain a lot about little things but over all i'm really healty, never really broken a bone (since i was one so that doesnt count) never been over night in the hospitol, never had major surgery, no diseases, no real diseases run in my family...so on and so forth.
SO on monday i was doing a casting call for Scout (my internship) and i was lifting a lot of equipment, and i strained my back, my lower back, well i thought i strained my back...and the pain just got worse and worse as the week went on by wednesday night, i was convulsing and throwing up all over the place from the pain, thursday was the same and friday i went to the doctor. The doctor said (judging by my urine sample) he thought i had a kidney infection, but i had never had a UTI which usually comes first...so he gave me some antibiotics, vicodin, and anti nausea medicine...which i proceeded to throw up until sunday, i couldnt even keep water down. SO Sunday morning at 6am i had a temp. of 102.8 (your temp should be 98) so i went to the SSHOSPTIOL and have been there ever since.
when i got here i weighed about 125lbs, cause i hadnt eaten since wednesday. and they started pumping full off all sorts of wonderful things, IV JUICES, Morphine, antibiotics, anti-heartburn stuff, anti nasuea stuff...
so my fevers still up and down and hopefully i'll get to go home tomorrow we'll see. But i've have my first over night stay in a hosptiol, and my first IV (which i had to have done the first time a hundred times cause they couldnt find a vein and then redone cause they lost the vein and my hand swelled up like lil miss piggies) and hopsitol food really does taste like shit. and they say i can go home when i can eat solid food...i don't know when that will happen but it will be their fault if i'm here til next week :)
