(no subject)
So I went to UVic for the day yesterday with my mum (after I insured my car! yay for being able to drive again). I made an appointment with an academic counsellor to make sure that I have indeed signed up for the correct courses, and to see if I could get into Music 170: Basic Musicianship as an elective. I also picked up the audition pieces for the Concert Bands that start up at the school that I'm permitted to play in. One run by Dr. King, and one by Dr. Capaldo. Not too shabby, that's for sure. After my appointment next week, I'm going to bookstore to buy all my texts as well. That way, at the end of August, I can worry about stocking up on supplies instead of everything. I get to have my own lab coat too. I'm such a science nerd, that excites me!
My cat came home! She'd been missing since we got home last Thursday, but she showed up at the door tonight after days of calling for her! Yay!
I had such an awesome day today. After my doctor's appointment, I met Kelly/Molly/Jen down at the lagoon where Kelly and Molly had just finished rowing. After hanging out with Molly and Jen while waiting for Kelly to finish with something, we all went down to the lake to go for a swim. It was sooo nice, I'm definatly going to have to start going more this summer. We then went back to Jen's house to make dinner (we didn't kill each other either!), and watched a movie. It was great times.
Tomorrow is my last day off of this nice string of three days off. I'm going to try going to water fit (watch me be the only one under 50), and then Wedding Crashers in the evening.
I'm going to go read Harry Potter now. Night night.
