Mae bought me flowers!!!
Someone just rang the doorbell and it was a delivery guy there with flowers!! They are gorgeous! Pink and yellow carnations. My (and my mom's) favorite. They are beautiful and they smell really,really nice. Because generally, that's what flowers do.
The card says "Congratulations on your wonderful accomplishments. Love Mae.". And it just makes me all smiley.
AND THERE WAS A TEDDY BEAR,TOO! aha yaaay. And also, they came from the florist that mom worked for for her first summer job, so that part as well was special. :)
ANDANDAND!!! The festival office called. They want me to sing at the Stars of the Festival concert! What does that mean? It means they pick people the adjudicators felt were exceptional (0_o) at this year's festival, and ask them to sing at this closing concert.
It also means I get to perform in front of 1000 people by myself. Solo. This is HUGE. What a way to get my name out there. Because,you know, all the really amazing music teachers and the who's who in the music scene in the city will be there, yadda yadda. So yeah. This is pretty exciting. *still doesn't know what to think*
And Dakotah? I'm going to a video dance tonight!!:P:P:P
