I_Reversebang Art

So this is my second piece for the Inception Reverse bang and was mainly inspired by JGL in a fedora. I came across that pic somewhere on tumbler and immediately linked it in my mind with the lovely black and white be-suited Tom Hardy magazine shots. Since I created this piece specifically for the reverse bang, once I had manipulated the two together, I decided it wasn't nearly enough to build a story on. As there were other pics for Tom Hardy, I thought I might create a series of 1950's Arthur and Eames pics, as if they were being followed. Of course, then I couldn't find any other usable pics of JGL. Drawing from the theme of surveillance, the 1950's and a few Noir AU's I'd read on the kink meme, I came up with the idea of the pic being on the desk of a private detective. This would have been easier to achieve if I had any talent at drawing. Thankfully google came through with enough 1950's office paraphernalia to build a proper desk top. I think it turned out rather well.

Now this piece was originally claimed by two writers, unfortunately one of my writers had to bow out due to real life concerns. Sobota's story The Only Thing You Have to Fear, is a wonderful Inception AU that I can't get enough of. Seriously, I want a hundred more stories set in this verse.
