I'm at my parents' house, having spent Wednesday thru Friday in the city, meeting with editors, then yesterday afternoon running around Greenwich Village with
remainthesame,
bitchygurl, and
fearlesstemp. There will, no doubt, be more about all of the above later, but today I just want to take a minute and think about everyone lost on 9/11/01. It always feels fitting to me to make it home for this day, and with the exception of last year when I was financially strapped and couldn't swing the air fare, I've been here every year. I love my city, even if I have moved 3,000 miles away. So, my thoughts go out to everyone affected by the attack on the WTC, whether it was directly or simply as citizens of this country. With new catastrophes coloring our perspective, it's still good to take the time to look back. Love to all.
