My two lads have recently been looking for love at a local home run sanctuary (http://www.freewebs.com/starlightsrabbitrescue/)and after a week long stay, they are safely back home with their new ladies in tow:

I'm pleased the intros seemed to have worked - Barney and Ginny look loved up :o) and both the girls look so sweet.

They're just both wanting to be groomed, feisty little beggars

Oh well, hopefully it will turn out as well as introducing Rowan to Jasper has. They get on so well, it's really sweet.

Rowan was 7.5 weeks and Jasper was 4 years old. But they are guinea pigs, and I think piggies are less picky about new friends on the whole.

Rowan is so funny, he seems to mirror Jasper a lot. I think he has a major case of hero worship going on. I must take some new pigtures...

ohh i dunno, male piggies can be little sods. I'm trying to find a friend for reggie and i don't want to buy a baby. The rabbit sanctuary lady is going to help out with some luck.

We were lucky, because an informal rescue had a piggy of the right age for us. Jas is pretty laid back, and I think being older and more secure helped, plus Rowan was sweet natured and very calm - in fact, they are quite alike in temperament, which helped too.

Hopefully, the rescue can help.Piggies do better - on the whole - with company.

fingers crossed, i'd love reggie to find someone. I do give him laptime and hugs but its not the same and for some reason i seem to itch like mad or come out in bumps wherever he touches my arms or face. I guess its the pure evil burning through
;)
