Got to spend a few hours with
matorias yesterday -- it really had been far too long. It was fun to catch-up and discuss alternative therapies and such.
Also watched a couple games of Joel's first ultimate frisbee tournament, which was down in Broomfield. He's there again today for Day 2. They aren't going to win, but that group definitely knows how to have a good time :) It almost made me wish I could throw a disc. But I've never been too good at team sports -- I have trouble paying attention and I don't like being "cheered" for. Definitely attention-averse.
This morning I had breakfast with Patsy, which was very nice. The woman has the gift of crying -- she cries easily, it's easy to cry around her and with her, and she recognizes the cleansing, regenerating effects of a good cry. And I got to have more conversation about alternative therapies. :)
In other news, I started taking BioDefender for the in-grown hairs, and 24 hours later they're down to only half the size of a golf ball -- and they don't hurt anymore. It's the same stuff I took for planter's warts. I think I'll start just keeping a bottle around.
