• Three stories back out to new markets (CHECK!)
• Query to market that has had another story for, er, months (CHECK!)
• Begin revision of story that worked its way up to the top of the marination drawer. (CHECK! So far, over 500 words and two dreadful scenes surgically removed, bringing it under the ominous 5000 word ceiling.)

Reward: early to bed with stealthmuffin 's Spiral Hunt and a half sleeve of Droste's nonpareils...
