I'm probably going out soon and picking up Fallout 3 from Target. I got addicted to my boyfriend's copy over the weekend. Not hard to do since it's basically Oblivion but in 2277 America. At this point I can't say it's as engaging as Oblivion (I am, however, a sucker for medieval/fantasy worlds over sci-fi), but the sheer magnitude of places to go and things to do gets me caught up. And Liam Neeson has such a soothing fatherly voice.
"How is your birthday party, sweetheart?"
"It's great, Liam Neeson!"
Problem is...how much do I not want to spend $60? Damn. I also have projects due and I don't need distractions. Yeeeet, I can't pick it up tomorrow because I have class all day and I'm afraid to leave on Tuesday because of the Obama rally. A huge chunk of the city is being sectioned off and secured, so I don't know what that entails for me. I don't have class Tuesdays and would have nothing to do(!) unless I had Fallout 3. I also have a business logo job lined up that will put some money in my pocket, though I should not be in the habit of counting my chickens before they hatch. >_>
So you see...I have to get it today. Yes, this all makes sense. Completely logical. gah.
