So, my sister had a bet going with my mom that she could sleep in her own room for an entire month rather than fall asleep in my parent's room. If my sister won, she would get a hermit crab.
Long story short, after an agonizing month of yelling, tears and going back on your word once a week, my sister came home from the pet store yesterday with two hermit crabs.
In less than a day I have grown to hate them. Not only is every other word out of her mouth about hermit crabs, but they are slowly consuming my entire household. They are evil. I don't care about them. Everybody else does. I feel like the next time I'm home alone, or rather, home with the hermits, I should sneak into my sisters room when they're in their shells and CRUSH THEIR SHELLS. Hermit crabs, no more! More like hobo-crabs.
I don't know why I harbor such a hatred towards them. Maybe it's their shell. Maybe it's the fact that their species has done nothing to object to being painted hot-pink by the workers at the malls. I don't care though. They must go.
Anyway, enough of that rant. Today was okay. Ms. Ciulla observed my physics class, so I had to be "well-behaved." Whatever that means... Sixth period, Edgary and I went to the school store and tried to haggle with the two workers. We wanted to buy these rulers that snap in half or grow, or something like that, but instead we questioned the fact that a pack of three stencils costs the same as a singular stencil. Who needs stencils?! Not I! Anyway, we got bored and left, but a few minutes we were bored again so we returned to the store to ask them the same questions that we had just bothered them with, and deny the fact that we had been there moments ago. Neither of us could keep a straight face and our plan was ruined. Phooey.
After school we played some frisbee and at around 4 I went to the sider press an edited an article about Mr. and Mrs. Nappi. I dare you to find a mistake in it when it hits the non-existant stands! I got a ride home at 4:30 and now I sit here, telling you the story of nothing.
Anyway, before I go I want to give a shout out the Solitaire, the game that's kept me busy for about 2 hours a day for the past week or so! Yo Solitaire! Keep it real, G! Peace.
