ahhh....relaxing sunday
YAY! we're going to the rose bowl! or at least, we have a rose bowl bid, and if we win on out we could go to the BCS bowl in arizona! woo! but i was sad to see michigan lose...even though it was a good game. my dad was here (really just for a few hours, for the game), and we went out to dinner at "Magic Johnson's TGI Fridays. It was pretty cool. Amazingly it was packed at like 11pm, but we got some good jack daniel's ribs. both my parents and my grandma (from florida) are coming out for thanksgiving, which is awesome since i have to be here for the notre dame game.
in other news, our apartment has aquired a kitten! he's really adorable and cute, but he has SO much energy and he gets into EVERYTHING (like right now he's on the table, where he's definitely not supposed to be) i don't know how long he's going to be here, but we'll see. we're treating him right now for some minor skin problems, and once they get better...well, i dont know.
last week was a week from hell. on top of being sick, i had an anth midterm and a paper due, wednesday i had a bio presentation, thursday i had a chem exam and a religion quiz, then friday i had the normal chem lab (which takes a lot of thinking). so thank goodness that's over. i went to the basketball game thursday night, which was fun, but they did this tribute to ryan francis, who was one of our guards. he was shot and killed i think last spring (maybe summer). it was pretty sad, but a lot of students turned out for the game. and then we lost in OT to the other usc (u south carolina). it was a nice break from the hecticness that was my week.
oh yeah, and last night there was supposed to be a meteor shower. i couldnt see anything when i was driving home (from taking my dad to his hotel) because of clouds and such, so, if anyone saw anything, was it cool?
